Virgin Atlantic Introduces New Direct Flight Between Dubai and London
Virgin Atlantic has exciting news for travelers seeking a winter escape from the UK. The airline has announced the relaunch of its flight services between London and Dubai, offering a seasonal route from October to March. With four flights per week, starting from June 7, passengers can book their travel and look forward to the first flight taking off on October 28, using Virgin Atlantic's Boeing 787-9 Aircraft.
This new route not only provides British residents respite from the gloomy winter but also opens up opportunities for travelers from Dubai to connect to Virgin Atlantic and Delta destinations in North America. Popular cities like New York, Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco are among the exciting options available. The Boeing 787-9 Aircraft offers a range of seating choices, including 31 upper-class seats, 35 premium seats, and 192 economy-class seats. Additionally, each flight will have a cargo capacity of 20 tons, catering to both passengers and cargo needs.
This announcement follows Virgin Atlantic's recent introduction of flights to the Maldives and the Turks and Caicos Islands, showcasing the airline's commitment to expanding its network and offering diverse travel options. Rikke Christensen, Vice President of Network and Alliances at Virgin Atlantic, expressed enthusiasm about returning to Dubai and highlighted the inviting climate it provides during the UK's cold winter months. While the daily Dubai service was discontinued in 2019, Virgin Atlantic continued operations through its subsidiary, Virgin Atlantic Holidays.
Christensen also emphasized Dubai's appeal as a premium sun destination, mentioning other exciting destinations within Virgin Atlantic's expanding network, such as the Maldives, Turks and Caicos, and the upcoming Manchester to Las Vegas route in the summer of 2024. With flights going on sale from June 7, 2023, travelers can soon look forward to experiencing the vibrant city of Dubai, renowned for its bustling souks, stunning landscapes, and impressive skyscrapers.
