Dubai Implements New Visit Visa Rule: Here's What You Need to Know
Dubai, one of the United Arab Emirates' most popular tourist destinations, has recently made significant changes to its visit visa rules. According to Gulf Times, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Residence, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security executive has confirmed the elimination of the grace period for visit visas issued across the country.
Previously, individuals holding visit visas in Dubai enjoyed a grace period after their visa expired, allowing them some extra time to leave the country. However, this grace period has now been completely removed, and penalties will be imposed immediately upon visa expiry.
To ensure visitors are well-informed, travel agencies have promptly notified their clients about the new directives. It is now crucial for visitors to strictly adhere to the specified duration of their stay, which is determined by the visa type. Depending on the visa, visitors are granted either a 30-day or 60-day stay starting from their entry date.
These changes aim to establish stricter adherence to visa regulations and reinforce compliance among visitors to Dubai. It is essential for all travelers to familiarize themselves with the updated rules and ensure they comply with the duration of their visit visas to avoid any penalties or legal complications.
Dubai continues to be a captivating destination for tourists worldwide, with its iconic landmarks, luxurious resorts, and vibrant culture. By implementing these new rules, the city aims to maintain a well-regulated visa system, ensuring a smooth and organized experience for visitors.
